Orajel Mouth Gel is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Do not use this product if you are allergic to benzocaine, sorbic acid, or any of the other listed ingredients. If you have been told by your doctor that you have difficulty converting methaemoglobin in your blood into haemoglobin, do not use Orajel Mouth Gel. This product is not suitable for those who are also taking any antibiotics called sulphonamides, such as co-trimoxazole. If you experience any irritation or side effects while using Orajel Mouth Gel, stop use
