Ibuprofen is a great way to reduce pain, but it won’t work if you don’t take the medicine regularly. If your symptoms are mild or intermittent in nature then ibuprofens short-acting effects should be enough for an immediate need and they can provide relief within 20-30 minutes after ingestion; however this will not last more than 4 hours before another dose must follow as long term treatment with regular use (usually up until 3 weeks) still becomes necessary on occasion due either extreme cases .
