Please do not write or make any markings on the front of your prescription, as this may invalidate it.
Please read your prescription carefully before placing your order.

When supplying human medicines for veterinary use, UK regulations require the original signed veterinary prescription to ensure patient safety, legal compliance, and accurate dispensing. The original document confirms that a qualified veterinary surgeon has assessed the animal’s condition and prescribed the medicine appropriately under the Cascade system. This safeguard prevents medication errors, supports traceability for controlled or prescription-only medicines, and ensures the correct dosage, strength, and product are supplied as intended. Without the original prescription, pharmacies cannot legally dispense human medicines for animal treatment, protecting both animal welfare and public health while complying with Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) and GPhC requirements.
