Waxsol Ear Drops, 10ml

Waxsol ear drops contain the active ingredient docusate sodium, which helps to soften ear wax. WAXSOL is used to help remove ear wax in adults, the elderly, and children. The drops help to clear your ear canal if it is blocked with wax by softening it and breaking it up.

What is Earwax?

Ear wax is a normal secretion of the ear. It is produced to provide a protective layer in the ear and on the eardrum. There are times when too much wax is produced. This can result in poor hearing, ringing in the ears, or earache.

How does Waxsol ear Drops work?

Docusate is a surface-active agent, which means that it allows water to penetrate into the earwax plug that may have built up in the ear.

Ear Care

Your ears normally look after themselves. Never put cotton buds or anything else inside your ear. You could hurt
yourself. The ears make wax naturally. Sometimes it builds up and goes hard. When this happens you may become a
bit deaf or have an earache.

Symptoms of earwax build-up

Symptoms of earwax build-up include:

  • hearing loss
  • earache or a feeling that your ears are blocked
  • ringing or buzzing in your ears (tinnitus)
  • vertigo (feeling dizzy and sick)

You can use WAXSOL on its own or before the doctor or nurse washes out your ear. Never put anything in your ear to try
and clear the wax yourself
