How to take Nytol One-A-Night

Swallow 1 tablet of Nytol One A Night 50mg tabletswith water 20 minutes before you go to bed.

Do not take two tablets ( a double dose) to make up for a forgotten dose.

The NytolOne at Night 50mg tablets  ingredients included in Nytol one a night tablets is called diphenhydramine hydrochloride. This is an antihistamine that is used commonly to relieve symptoms of allergy, hay fever and the common cold.

However, because it can cause drowsiness and is known as a sedating antihistamine, Nytol ingredients uses this to their advantage, making you feel sleepier compared to other comparable antihistamines.

    Do not take:

    1. If you have ever had an allergic reaction to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients
    2. If you have an obstruction in your stomach or gut for example, because of an ulcer
    3. If you are pregnant, breast feeding or receiving prescribed medicines
    4. This medicine may make you sleepy. Do not drive or use heavy machinery
    5. Do not mix with alcohol
    6. Keep out of the sight and reach of children
    7. If you take too many tablets, contact your doctor or nearest emergency department
    8. If you experience any of the following side effects, tell your doctor or LloydsPharmacy pharmacist: rash, shortness of breath, swelling, blurred vision, palpitations (feeling your heartbeat) or irregular heartbeat, muscle twitching, convulsions, headache or pins and needles. Addiction can cause withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking this medicine. Withdrawal symptoms can include restlessness, difficulty sleeping, irritability, agitation,
anxiety, feeling your heartbeat (palpitations), increased blood pressure, feeling or being sick, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, shaking, shivering or sweating. Speak to your doctor if you experience withdrawal symptoms.
