What is Gum Disease?

Gum disease can be a very uncomfortable condition. Symptoms include swollen, sore or infected gums that bleed when you brush your teeth and bad breath from the bacterial buildup in your mouth as it progresses to periodontitis – affecting tissues around our teeth which support them but also holding onto extra food particles if left untreated.

Gum disease is a very common condition where the gums become swollen, sore or infected. If you have gum disease in your mouth right now it might be painful when brushing teeth because of chronic inflammation that can lead to tooth loss if not treated early on with cleaning procedures such as dental Clean & Healthy™ products from Sensodyne® Professional Care line-up
As noted above most adults experience some form gum problem at least once during their lifetime but children are less susceptible due largely down genetic makeup for protection against harmful bacteria.
