Cerumol Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ear Drops offer a natural way to gently soften and remove ear wax and have no known side effects. The drops can even be used during pregnancy or when breastfeeding.
The use of olive oil to soften ear wax before syringing is recommended by many healthcare professionals. Cerumol Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ear Drops provides a medicinal grade olive oil and comes with a dropper, so is easy and convenient to use.
Olive oil is scientifically proven to disperse ear wax and therefore helps its easy removal. The wax either runs out of its own accord or becomes more accessible for professional removal by syringing.

Ear wax is an oily substance produced to protect the eardrum. The amount of wax produced varies from person to person
but a build-up of earwax can lead to partial hearing loss.

How To Use
For adults, the elderly and children over 1 year:
Using the dropper, please 2-3 drops of oil into the ear, then gently massage around the outside of the ear. Never insert the dropper or any solid object into the ear. Allow a few minutes for the drops to reach the eardrum by keeping the head tilted then wipe away any surplus product that runs from the ear. Use the drops twice a day for up to seven days.
Children under 5 years
Younger children should have their ear wax problem diagnosed by the doctor before treatment with Olive Oil commences.
Treatment of young children (under 5 years) should be under medical supervision of the doctor or nurse
Use in pregnancy
Olive Oil can be used in the ear to soften wax during pregnancy and breast feeding.

Do not use if:
● You are sensitive to Olive Oil.
● The ear is infected, bleeding, inflamed, or if the eardrum is ruptured.
Side Effects
There are no known side effects when using Olive Oil but if drops cause irritation in the ear or you notice any side effects, stop using them and tell your doctor or pharmacist
Storing the drops
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use the drops after the expiry date shown on the carton.
Discard the drops 28 days after first opening.
Store between 10°C to 25°C and away from light.
Do not freeze.
Take care if accidentally spilled, as floor surfaces will become slippery.
Ingredients
The drops contain only Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Superior category Olive Oil directly obtained from olives and solely by mechanical means. There are no other ingredients added
