CompareCompareCerumol Ear Drops have a dual-action formula that gently breaks down wax blockages in the ear by softening and loosening ear wax and clearing the ear canal.
Cerumol Ear Drops are suitable for the softening and removal of ear wax. Penetrating deeper into the ear to ease out any wax that is causing a blockage. Containing a unique oil-based formula that works between the wax and the ear canal to gently ease out the blockage.
Cerumol Ear Drops contains arachis oil refined to help lubricate the ear wax and chlorobutanol hemihydrate, an antibacterial agent, which also helps to loosen the wax. This product is used to soften and help remove ear wax.
Blocked ears not only lead to people feeling hard of hearing, they can also cause discomfort, irritation, and in some cases pain.
The gentle formulation can be used to treat problem earwax or to prepare ears before syringing
Earwax, scientifically known as cerumen, is a yellowy-brown waxy substance that is made in the ear canal. It protects and lubricates the skin of the ear canal by trapping dirt and repelling water. Earwax also contains bacteria-killing chemicals.
Earwax is made by cells in the outer part of your ear canal. These cells make earwax all the time, but it only comes out of your ear when you move it around in there. If earwax stays in your ear for a long time, it can start to clog up the ear canal and cause problems.
The main symptom of blockage is that it feels uncomfortable or painful to put anything into your ear – such as a cotton bud, hearing aid or headphone. Earwax may also be blocking your ears if you hear a hissing sound when you swallow or yawn, have an ache or pressure in your ear, are having trouble hearing properly, have tinnitus (a continuous high-pitched ringing noise), feel dizzy or generally unwell.
Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding should not use Cerumol Ear Drops without speaking to a doctor
