Calpol SixPlus Original Suspension  oral suspension and is used for the relief of: Fever (raised temperature), Post-immunisation fever, Cold and flu symptoms, Toothache, Headache, Sore throat, Earache, Other aches and pains.

Calpol SixPlus Original Suspension is a paracetamol (acetaminophen) oral suspension formulated for children aged 6 years and above. It is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pyrexia (fever) and mild-to-moderate pain, including headaches, sore throat, toothache, and post-immunization discomfort. Calpol SixPlus Original Suspension is a paracetamol-based oral liquid designed for children aged 6 years and above. It provides effective relief from fever, headaches, sore throat, toothache, and cold or flu symptoms. It works by reducing prostaglandin production in the brain, helping to lower temperature and relieve pain quickly—often within 15–30 minutes.

How Calpol SixPlus Original Suspension Works

Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in the central nervous system, reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and fever.

This leads to:
Reduced body temperature (antipyretic effect)
Relief from pain (analgesic effect)
Minimal gastric irritation compared to NSAIDs
