Description

Calpol Infant Suspension Sugar Free, 200ml

Calpol Infant Suspension Sugar Free is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) containing paracetamol, specifically formulated for infants and young children. Calpol Infant Suspension Sugar Free 200ml is a paracetamol-based oral suspension (120mg/5ml) used to treat fever, teething pain, cold symptoms, and post-vaccination discomfort in babies aged 2 months and over. It works by reducing fever and blocking pain signals in the brain, typically starting to work within 15–30 minutes. The sugar-free strawberry-flavoured formula is gentle on babies’ stomachs and easy to administer.

How Calpol Infant Suspension Sugar Free Works

Calpol contains paracetamol, which works by:
Blocking prostaglandin production in the brain (chemicals responsible for pain and fever)
