Activa Liners – Compression Support Stocking Liners, 3 Pack

Activa Liners are designed to provide a more comfortable and customized fit. By layering the liners, you can find the level of compression that is most comfortable for you. Additionally, Activa Liners can be worn under compression stockings to provide higher levels of compression.

Liners can also be worn under compression stockings to provide higher levels of compression. For example one 10mmHg liner worn below an Activa British Standard 14-17mmHg garment would provide 25mmHg* compression. The liner forms part of the Activa hosiery kits used to treat venous leg ulcers.

For patients who need less pressure, the Activa liners provide 10mmHg light compression. They’re great for maintenance therapy and palliative care!

The liners are very comfortable to wear and easy to apply, which is why they are often layered by wearers who find the lower levels of compression easier to put on and can maintain their independence by not needing assistance.

Layering:

  • Activa liners can be layered to provide higher levels of compression.
  • This means either wearing one 10mmHg liner on top of another, e.g.
  • 2 x 10mmHg liners = 20mmHg
  • Or, the liner can be worn under a higher compression stocking. The silky liner material enables the top stocking to slip easily over the leg. This can be easier to put on than a single high compression garment, e.g.
  • 1 x 10mmHg liner Activa British Standard 14-17mmHg = 25mmHg

Benefits of  Activa Liners

  • Provide light compression for maintenance therapy, palliative care and with patients non-concordant with higher levels of compression, working on the assumption that some compression is better than none
  • Activa liners can be used to provide higher levels of compression by layering
  • As part of the Activa/ActiLymph Hosiery Kit, the silky liner helps to protect delicate skin and retains dressings, enabling the top stocking to glide on smoothly

Product Information

  • Sizing & Measurement Guidelines – In order to work effectively graduated compression hosiery must be the correct size and apply the right amount of pressure to the leg. It is essential that accurate measurements are taken, you can view the sizing instructions in the size chart image in the product photos.

Can you sleep in the liners?

Yes, they can. The hosiery can be worn for a week at a time in the same way as patients who wear compression bandaging. If the liner is being used with another stocking or other liner, then sometimes wearers remove the top stocking at night and reapply it first thing in the morning.
