DDAVP (Desmopressin) 0.01% w/v (100 micrograms/ml) intranasal solution will be out of stock from the end of October until mid 2021.

This supply issue will affect many patient and also a great deal of pet owners who rely on DDAVP Intranasal drops

Supplies of the generic Desmopressin 100 micrograms/ml nasal spray (10 micrograms per actuation) remains available from Dock Pharmacy and can fully support demand during this time for paients and pet owners.

Your doctor or vet has to make a review to ensure an alternative management plan is in place as soon as possible.

Desmopressin Nasal Spray can be prescribed for patients or pets on doses of 10mcg or less. Your doctor or vet will normally counsel on how to use the spray and how to administer the correct dose.

If desmopressin nasal spray is not appropriate, your doctor or vet can prescribe oral tablets or oral dispersible tablets if appropriate.
